After losing it's first two games of the season in some very close contests, the Lakers have been on a roll, winning six of the next seven games.
A win would go a long way for the Lakers as they look to solidify a top-four ladder position as it enters the back half of the season.
It will be the first time the Cobras and Lakers have faced off this season and Bacchus Marsh will enter the game motivated following its rain-shortened loss to the ladder-leading Roos last week.
The Marsh sit in a precarious position with four wins and five losses to date this season. The side is currently in the finals picture, sitting only above the seventh-placed Melton South by percentage.
The Panthers will have a chance to push ahead of the Cobras when they take on cross-town rivals Melton at the Bloods home court.
Melton has perhaps been the surprise team of the competition thus far, winning three games to date after going nearly two years without a win.
