The independent Ballarat great-great-grandmother is the perfect example of what wonders living with care, compassion and selflessness can bring.
But these values should come as no surprise; Frances was part of the legendary Lucas Girls.
Ballarat's Lucas Girls were known for their philanthropic work during the first world war and their efforts in employing over 500 women and instilling pride, selflessness and optimism during a challenging time for the local community.
During her time working as a sewer for the local women's group, Frances learnt the value of comradery and the power of positive thinking - something her long-time friend Robyn Cunningham says she still lives by today.
"I've never known Francie to tell a lie, or over all these years to be negative of someone,'' said Ms Cunningham.
"She's a very positive person."
Reflecting on her experience with the Lucas girls, Ms Harris said her fondest memory was the lifelong relationships she made.
When queried what Frances' secret was to her good health, Ms Cunningham said a combination of eating her vegetables and enjoying her favorite sponge cakes as well.
