The side got off to a poor start as the Saints drove in three runs to start the game off Ballarat pitcher Jordan Isbister.
The Royals couldn't answer back with bat in hand as East Belmont continued to have its way with Isbister across the first four innings, adding another 3 runs to take the score to 6-0 at the bottom of the fourth.
Ballarat finally got on the board to close the fourth innings, however couldn't keep up with the Saints fire-power.
After giving up another four runs over the next two innings, Isbister was pulled from the game for reliever Brendan Robinson.
The loss takes the Royals to an even 6-6 record after 12 outings ahead of its next game on the road against Lara.
Ballarat will be hoping to continue its good form against Lara as it won both of the sides previous meetings, outscoring the Wilcats 16-3.
