Two people gave escaped serious injury after a two-car crash on Sturt Street this morning.
The cars collided at the intersection of Sturt and Lyons streets about 8.40am.
The intersection was blocked to traffic at the time as police, CFA and paramedics attended the scene.
It is understood two people are being treated for minor injuries.
Lyons Street is one of the six Sturt Street intersections that is going to be altered by VicRoads under drastic changes.
The changes will mean cars will no longer be able to cross Sturt Street while driving along Lyons Street.
Instead, they will be forced to turn left onto Sturt Street, with only u-turns allowed (see graphic below).
Raglan Street and Errard Street will be altered in the same fashion as Lyons Street, Talbot and Raglan will see traffic lights installed and Windermere Street will be completely blocked to north-south traffic.
