Ballarat-based indie pop band Meraki Minds and four-piece Leftfield Luxury will join artists including Kahlid, CHVRCHES and Illy at Victoria Park for the sold-out festival.
Other Victorian artists announced this week include DJs Upstairs // Downstairs, Melbourne-based Steve Cousins, Geelong's pysch rock band Zuma, and electric producer Jamo.
Five-piece band Meraki Minds formed in 2017 and have gone on to perform at Karova Lounge and the Begonia Festival.
"Surf-punk garage outfit" Leftfield Luxury have made a mark on the Ballarat music scene after forming at their local high school three years ago.
Spilt Milk is expected to draw 25,000 festival-goers to Ballarat for its only Victorian outing, the first time the festival has expanded from its Canberra base.
Ballarat has jumped on the festival's popularity with the announcement of a 12-hour line-up of live music and shows, dubbed Fringe Benefits, to be held on the eve of the festival.
