Henry was taken to hospital following a collision late in the first half of the club's Football Victoria state league three match with Fawkner on Sunday.
Sebastopol Vikings interim head coach Dan Hollingworth confirmed Henry had damaged his acromioclavicular joint (AC) and may require surgery.
He said Henry will undergo further scans this week and could miss the rest of the season.
Henry has been the first-choice keeper for the Vikings since he made his return to the team earlier this year.
He came back to the club after spending time with Caroline Springs George Cross in an FFV state league one competition where he joined former Vikings coach Corey Smith.
He had spent three seasons at Sebastopol before that.
Hollingworth said Henry had been in fantastic form.
"He came straight in and hasn't looked back," he said.
"He's been a great voice for the boys behind him and he really organised the back four quite well.
"He believed in what we were trying to do this season and was looking forward to next season with the development going on at the ground, and wanted to be a big part of that."
