They may not seem the cuddliest of animals, but snakes play an important role in many ecosystems.
Bindi (pictured) is a Burmese python, or Python bivittatus, native to southeast Asia and one of the five largest species of snake in the world.
Bindi is one of almost 100 snakes at the park, with the collection including some of the largest and most venomous species.
"[Snakes] including reticulated pythons, the longest species of snake in the world; a few inland taipans, believed to be the most venomous snake on the planet; as well as spitting cobras and rattlesnakes; 'Nicki' a green Anaconda who weighs over 60 kilograms," the park says.
Park visitors can get their photo taken Pablo the boa constrictor or Moss the coastal carpet python.
World Snake Day is celebrated on July 16 each year.
