Supporter group member Sonya Macdonald said Ballarat has the perfect opportunity to show Western United officials, coaches and players the city is fully committed to the team ahead of its inaugural season.
"I think the opportunity is unique for Ballarat," she said.
"To have a valuable connection with an A-League club that is building real relationships with all of Western Victoria is amazing.
"As a football fan in Western Victoria, we want the club to provide young people with a pathway to a football future."
Having attended the club's forums in Geelong and Werribee across the past week, Macdonald says she believes the club is fully invested to representing the west of Victoria and wants to hear from its fans.
"From what I've seen so far the club is hungry and eager for community feedback... they need to know what their fans want.
"We need to have our fans come and show support not just so we can get some answers to the questions we've been asking, but also to help the club deliver on what we want as fans."
The excitement for the forum has been building over the past week after director of football at Western United Steve Horvat said while no games have been confirmed, the club is working hard to establish itself within Ballarat.
Horvat added the club has intentions of playing two games a year over the next two years in Ballarat.
The community information forum will take place at Morshead Park on Wednesday evening from 6.30pm.
