A BCA draft firsts fixture has scheduled play for the Sunday, November 24, instead of Cup Day on the Saturday of that weekend.
The association will again have a mix of two-day, one-day and twenty20 matches for premiership points.
While the exact structure will not be confirmed until after feedback from clubs is considered, it has been decided that twenty20 games will carry three premiership points rather than six.
The draft fixture features 21 days of play - one more than last season.
This is owing to six two-day matches, an increase of one.
BCA pennant committee chairman Mark Harris said the draft fixture also proposed to introduce two-day games much earlier.
The firsts competition began last season with five one-dayers ands then three twenty20s.
If the draft is adopted, next season will have only three short-form games at the start, leading into three consecutive two-dayers.
Another three two-dayers have been scheduled in the last three rounds leading up to the finals.
The BCA will also have to shape its competitions around the "Spilt Milk" Festival in Victoria Park on Saturday, November 30, owing to grounds at the venue not be available for lower grades.
