Police are currently at the scene of a fatal collision involving a pedestrian in Smythes Creek.
Emergency services were called to Glenelg Highway near Bells Road just after 8pm.
A man who has not yet been identified died at the scene after being struck by a vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene to assist but the exact cause of the collision is still unknown.
It follows chaos on the Western Highway earlier on Tuesday after one man died and another was critically injured near the Gillies Road overpass after a crash at 6am.
