The Australian Whitney Houston Show is coming to Ballarat on August 17, starring Melbourne-based R'n'B performer Tilarni.
The Courier has a free double-pass to give away, valued at $108.
The show promises to be a concert experience, with an eight-piece live band and dancers on the Wendouree Centre for Performing Art. Celebrating Whitney will be a showcase of Houston's best-known songs, anchored by Tilarni's extensive vocal range.
Tilarni said she was "so privileged to perform these amazing songs", with Houston providing endless inspiration throughout her career. While coming from different background and countries, Tilarni shares a love for gospel music, first singing at a young age in church with her family.
"For me, these songs give me euphoric moments of being like my idol, as I remember her as one of the most amazing singers of all time," Tilarni said.
"These songs not only take Whitney Houston fans down memory lane but brings to life this music that I love to sing and unveil to the current generation of music lovers."
