Currently sitting in fifth-place and one game behind Ballan, the Buninyong Bombers are looking to make a push into the top-four over the final three weeks.
Speaking to The Courier, Bombers coach Meg Gilbert said finishing the season with three more victories is the only thing on her side's mind.
"(Finishing strong) is very important for us," she said.
"We're obviously wanting to finish in a top-four position so over the next three rounds we're going to do everything we can to ensure we get those wins."
Gilbert said while her team possesses one of the easier schedules across the final three weeks, she will not allow her side to become complacent.
The Bombers will go up against 13th placed Carngham-Linton at the weekend on the road before facing ninth-placed Waubra and 12th placed Skipton across the next two weeks.
"(Making sure we don't get complacent) is something we've been talking about a lot at training.
"You can't go up against Carngham-Linton or any other team in this competition expecting to have an easy win, you've got to turn up to play on the day.
"We're certainly going into each game like we're playing the top team on the ladder."
While for much of the season it looked as though the competition possessed a clear top-four (Learmonth, Hepburn, Springbank and Buninyong), the emergence of Ballan (11 wins and 2 losses) and Rokewood-Corindhap (nine wins and four losses) have made the finals picture look a lot more interesting.
Gilbert said her side needs to be performing at its best come finals because the competition can be won be any of the six teams previously mentioned.
"I think that the top six are really quite close, she said."
"Learmonth have probably been a touch above the rest so far this season but on the right day every team in that group has the ability to beat each other, you just never know what can happen when you step on the court."
