Springbank is seventh on the ladder, a game and percentage behind the fourth-placed Gordon, while Bungaree looks destined to finish ninth. The Demons are four points and plenty of percentage adrift of the eighth-placed Skipton ahead of their round 17 battle with Newlyn.

Rokewood-Corindhap eclipsed their previous best season in the Central Highlands Football League with Saturday's 11-point success against Ballan.
The Grasshoppers, which came from one goal down at the final change, now have five wins in 2019.
Their previous best was four victories in 2016 and 2017.
"For those guys that have been around the club for a while, it's something for them. It was good to have a lot of support there yesterday," joint-coach Damon Delaney said.
Onballers Jake Dowell and Keegan Powell were standouts for the winners, which had Jake Carr kick three majors on a day where Jackson O'Neil played his 100th game for the club. Unfortunately for O'Neil, he injured a quadriceps in the second half.
For Ballan, Darren Tanti was a star in a game coach Tristan Batten said the Blues should have killed off in the third term.
"It's probably the loss that hurts the most this year because we should have won," he said.

Dunstan is now on 90 majors with one home and away round to play before finals.
The Magpies' Reagan Maddaford has accepted a two-match set penalty for intentionally striking Dunstan on Saturday.
Hepburn's win leaves it fifth on the ladder, but a game and significant percentage behind fourth-placed Gordon.

Dunnstown fought back from a deficit in the final term to snatch an 11-point victory over Daylesford.
The Towners kicked four goals to three in the last quarter on their way to a sixth successive win.
Jack Sutherland and Matthew Bulluss were named best for the Towners, while Sam Winnard almost led his side to victory with a six-goal display in attack.
Daylesford coach Zac Tisdale said star onballer Michael Cummings suffered yet another hamstring injury early in the match.
"A couple of things as a young side we did that hurt us in the last when we had the lead," Tisdale said.
"(We didn't) protect the corridor around stoppages and we were too slow to get the ball into Winnard one out when he was dominating.
"Credit to Dunnstown. They came home strong. But it was good to be in the game and give ourselves a chance to win after a really tough four weeks against the top sides."
Tom Conroy and Cameron Ralph were named the best for the Bulldogs.

The Eagles are a game and a tick over 21 per cent clear of fifth-placed Hepburn ahead of next weekend's blockbuster battle against Waubra.
Twin towers Brendan Sutcliffe (eight goals) and Adam Toohey (six goals) again dominated in attack, while Matt Raworth was rated the Eagles' top contributor.
Jayson Gilbert was a clear best for the Saints, which lost big man Aaron Braeckmans to a hamstring issue during the afternoon.

Buninyong has delivered a loud reminder of its premiership credentials, thrashing top side Waubra on Saturday.
The Bombers made it 11-straight wins with a 41-point triumph over the Roos, which after going 14 rounds unbeaten have now lost their last two.
Buninyong coach Shaun O'Loughlin was clearly pleased with the result, which was set up with a seven-goals-to-two opening half.
"We have been building for a while now. We've got lots of new players this year so we've gradually been improving every week," he said.
"We think Waubra is a really good side so we knew that we'd have to play somewhere near our best to match them. We are just happy that the challenge of playing against a good side, we were able to stand up (and) the way that we want to play we know works."
Derrick Micallef kicked five goals for the Bombers, which were led by backman Jack Robertson and skipper Alex Bomitali.
For the Roos, Paul Dodds injured a hamstring early in the game, while key figures Ryan Head, Geordie Lukich and Jackson Kinna were all out from the round 15 clash with Newlyn.
"They were obviously too good for us all day. They had a really good second quarter and probably jumped us late in the first," Roos coach Matt James said.
BUNINYONG v. WAUBRA

Marcus Darmody has become the first senior player since 2012 to kick a century of goals in the Central Highlands Football League.
The Newlyn spearhead started Saturday's clash with Skipton on 92 majors and booted a bag of 10 in the Cats' big victory over the Emus.
A mark and goal from close range during the third term brought up Darmody's milestone as Newlyn supporters spilled onto the ground to congratulate him.
While breaking a lengthy league drought, Darmody has become the Cats' first senior century goal-kicker in the CHFL.
Newlyn's big win saw it remain third on the ladder and now equal on points with second-placed Buninyong and top team Waubra.
Cats joint-coach Dan Wehrung, who passed the ball to Darmody for his 100th goal, said the celebrations were "awesome" to experience first-hand.
"All the kids running out - it was big moment for the club," Wehrung said.
Hepburn's Lee Cox booted 117 majors in season 2012.
Darmody, who was recruited from North Ballarat City for this season, only needed 14 matches to reach his first-ever century of goals in a single campaign. His average sits at a staggering 7.29 majors per match in 2019.
Skipton's loss leaves it still a game and plenty of percentage clear in eighth spot.
This will almost certainly see the Emus become the first former Lexton Plains league side to play finals.
NEWLYN v. SKIPTON
Newlyn 4.1, 9.2, 15.3, 17.4 (106)
Skipton 0.0, 3.0, 4.0, 7.1 (43)
