INVESTIGATORS are looking into a suspicious car fire in Talbot Street South overnight.
A red commodore which was parked in the street was set alight just after 10pm.
One neighbour who contacted The Courier said there was an "almighty bang" and he thought his baby had fallen out of its cot.
"There were flames half as tall as the tree next to it," he said.
It has been a busy 2019 for fire fighters with dozens of car fires lit in the Ballarat region since January.
