In shocking conditions at Snake Valley, Dunnstown climbed to ninth spot on the ladder with the 7.8 (50) to 1.6 (12) triumph.
Carngham-Linton football manager Greg Spratling said the Saints finished the day without a fit bench after injuries to Wayne Bruty (concussion), Jayson Gilbert (calf), Jayson Porter (shoulder) and Dean O'Brien (shoulder).

Waura felt the cold touch of defeat for the third time this season when Gordon knocked it off by 45 points in an icy, wet Saturday encounter.
The Eagles had the Roos' measure right from the start and kept them scoreless in the first quarter.
But poor kicking had Gordon fans frustrated until Ethan Crackel broke the ice for the Eagles' first major.
Crackel's success was short-lived though as he left the ground concussed.
His teammates Brendan Sutcliffe and Tye Murphy slotted two goals to lead the Roos by 24 points at the first break.
Waubra swung into attack before half time and looked to have plenty of momentum, but the efforts fizzled on the scoreboard. Gordon led by 20 points at the main break.
The Eagles could smell the blood in the water in the third and banged on 10 scoring shots to three. With a bit more accuracy they would have blown Waubra away.
Play was delayed for about 10 minutes while Gordon's Mark Gunnell was stretchered from the ground after a heavy knock to his back.
Gunnell had been outstanding in defence.
Gordon's Adam Toohey top scored in this quarter with two goals and the Eagles had a 32-point advantage going into the final term.
The Eagles marched on with little resistance in the final quarter with two majors from Jaymes Gorman and another from Toohey securing the win.
There were many strong performances in the Eagles' line-up. Zac May was too good for anyone the Roos put up in the ruck duels. Brad Hallam, Brad Horsham and Matt Raworth were too slick for their opponents.
Waubra's best were players like Tom Nash, John Coleman and Geordie Lukich.
Lukich copped a few unnecessary whacks around the head but kept his cool and played on stoically.
Gordon coach Ron Watt was concerned about the injuries and sore bodies.
"They played really well. They played hard in the tough conditions. And they used the ball really well," he said.
For Waubra coach Matt James the result was a "bit of a dead rubber".
"It was a bit of a white flag in the end. Gordon was far too good. I think in the end it was a bit of a dead rubber," he said.
WAUBRA v. GORDON

The Bombers pounced on Waubra's late-season slump to climb to the summit on the last day of the home and away season.
Coach Shaun O'Loughlin and his men beat Skipton by 30 points on Saturday and set up a qualifying final encounter with the Roos, which tumbled to fourth.
A broken jaw to Morgan Turner was awful news for Buninyong fans on Saturday, with the injury expected to require surgery.
Despite the defeat, the Emus officially became the first former Lexton Plains league club to reach a CHFL senior finals series and will take on Hepburn in a knockout clash next weekend.

Newlyn was made to work hard to beat Bungaree in the wet, but got the job done to finish the year in second spot on the ladder.
With key players Adam and Myles Sewell and Tristan May rested on the weekend, Cats joint-coach Dan Wehrung said his team was well placed heading into the qualifying final against Gordon on Sunday.
"We have pretty much timed it to perfection injury wise," he said.
Saturday's clash was the last in charge for Bungaree senior coach Heath Pyke, who has now stood down from the role.
The Demons finished the campaign in 10th spot on the table.
