St Pat's were challenged by the visitors early, with St Kevin's pushing over the line in the third minute to open the game's scoring.
This was followed by three more unanswered tried to St Kevin's, putting the home side in a 24-0 hole at the half-time break.
The defect only increased following the half-time break as St Kevin's added it's fifth try of the contest before St Pat's answered through Tarquin Schreenan, who went across the try line for the home side's first and only score of the game.
The loss was an unfortunate end to St Pat's coach Mike Silcock's time leading the rugby program at the school.
Silcock, who came to Ballarat in 2013, led St Pat's to a division two premiership in his first season before taking the rugby program into division one in 2015.
