Last year's premiership captain has made just four senior appearances this season after a shortened pre-season
He last played in round five against Melton South.
Troubled by knee wear and tear, Koderenko's absence has left an inexperienced Jaykeb Lench to lead a depleted ruck division.
Mitch Walsh, Joel Van Meel and Dallas Martin have provided support, but this has caused issues in defence for the Roos.
Koderenko acted as a senior runner last round as a final fitness test. This will be his only chance to convince coach Jake Bridges he is ready for finals, with East Point having a bye in the last home and away round.
With the Roos having already secured a top two spot, Koderneko could still also be tested in the reserves in the first week of finals.
