The American import was named in the NBL1 All-Star Five to commemorate his standout season with the ladder-leading Miners.
Evans Jr is joined in the All-Star Five by fellow Americans in NBL1 MVP winner DeMarcus Gatlin (Geelong), Ray Turner (Bendigo) as well a Australian centre pairing Dane Pineau (Melbourne Tigers) and Simon Conn (Nunawading Spectres).
The 203 centimetre forward averaged 19.2 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game while connecting on 35 per cent of his three-point attempts this season.
This award recognition comes only weeks after Evans Jr won the Ray Borner MVP award as the best Miners player in 2019.
The California native is set to return to the US following the Miners' preliminary finals loss to eventual premiers Nunawading in hopes of securing a contract in the NBA G-League.
