The Hoppers dominated the Eagles from start to finish in its fifth versus eighth match-up, running away with a commanding 82-24 victory.

The win is Rokewood-Corindhap's fourth in a row and will help build momentum for the side's next contest against Buninyong following the Bombers loss to Learmonth.

It was business as usual from the Lakies who remain undefeated in 2019, as they used tremendous pressure through the mid-court to force turnovers and capitalise on its extra opportunities in attack.

The last time the Hoppers and Bombers met the Bombers came away for a comfortable 13-goal win on the road.

Elsewhere Hepburn and Springbank played a finals game for the ages out in the wet at City Oval.

It was back-and-forth across all four quarters of netball with neither side looking able to pull ahead. Hepburn coach Gary Cooke says the wet conditions slowed both teams significantly.

"It was a pretty even match-up in those conditions," he said.

Cooke says his side didn't play its best game and lost focus at times, leading to the narrow victory.

"In the last quarter we could feel ourselves take over the momentum but we just made crazy some eras to let them back in it."

Hepburn will now enjoy a week off while the Tigers will go on to face a surging Bunagree team full of confidence after its 44-29 upset win over Ballan.

Demons coach Kathryne O'Dwyer told The Courier she was proud of her group for the performance they produced on the court on Sunday.

"It was easily our most consistent and positive game of the year," she said.

"The way our group played just made me so proud... our intensity and fight was at another level."

Despite the 15-goal margin, O'Dwyer says it was not an easy win by any stretch of the imagination.

"It wasn't easy... Ballan played a really great game, we just were able to capitalise of our opportunities."

Going into next week's contest with Sprignbank, O'Dwyer says her group is approaching the challenge with an 'anything is possible' mindset.

"Springbank is a high quality team... but if we play like we showed we can today and come into the game with a unified game-plan we know we can be successful, anything can happen come finals."

Ballarat dropped out of the top-six following a five-goal loss to North Ballarat City in the Ballarat Football Netball League.

Meanwhile Bacchus Marsh have defeated Melton South to leapfrog the Swans who are suddenly on the verge of missing finals with one round of the regular season remaining.

North fended off a desperate effort from the Swans who knew what was at stake prior to the match at Alfredton Reserve on Saturday.

A slug-fest ensued from the centre-pass with both sides struggling to find rhythm early.

The Swans took a one-goal lead into the first break but North pegged it back in the second term.

With the match tied at half-time, McCartin added size to her defensive line by moving Brianna Gregory into goal-keeper.

The adjustment proved a treat for City which went up by seven in the third.

Ballarat increased the pressure in the final term but was unable to overcome the deficit. North Ballarat won 43-38.

McCartin heaped praise Gregory whose defensive pressure forced a number of turnovers.

"I think the height we were able to introduce turned the game," she said.

"We found more space down in attack and it gave us a rebounding edge in defence."

The win locks-up second spot on the BFNL ladder for City. Ballarat however must win next week if it is to have any chance of playing post-season.

Elsewhere Melton defeated Sebastopol by one goal at McPherson Park. Lake Wendouree had an easy win over Redan and East Point thumped Darley.
