The Rebels got out to a great start on Sunday afternoon, kicking three of the game's first four major scores including two goals from Izaac Grant to open up a 20-7 quarter time lead.
Some individual brilliance from Jets forward Archi Manton (who would finish the game with four goals) helped reduce the deficit, closing the Rebels' advantage to just three points going into the main break.
After relinquishing the lead for the first time in the game to start the third quarter, the Rebels hit back, connecting on a pair of goals to extend its lead back out to double digits.
This would however be the beginning of the end for the Rebels, as the Jets would go on to kick the next nine goals of the game.
The Rebels simply couldn't find an answer for the poise of the Jets who lived up to its namesake, dominating the game through the air. The Jets registered 61 more kicks and 21 more marks than the Rebels over the contest.
The Jets would finish the game with a 99-49 victory, holding the rebels scoreless across the final quarter of action.
The loss brings an up and down season for the Rebels to an end. After splitting its first four outings in 2019, the Rebels hit a rough patch, dropping six games in a row before salvaging some positives towards the end of the schedule, winning four of its final five games ahead of finals.
