The school's annual Fathers Day event and barbecue lunch did double duty as a fundraiser for Movember and a way to spread the message about the importance of men's mental health.
About 250 dads and special blokes took part in sporting activities, time in the classroom and lunch with family and friends.
"We just wanted to do something that was going to support men's mental health, being Fathers Day - it's one of those silent things and not many men admit they need support when they do," said principal Fiona Kerton.
"We've got to start now because we talk about to children about having counselling and things when they are feeling down or need some support, but if we don't instill that in to them now they are not going to do it later age."
Local businesses donated most of the barbecue supplies needed to feed the blokes, children and staff, allowing the school to raise $1850 for the Movember Foundation supporting men's physical and mental health.

"Pretty much all of the men have been involved in something community-minded and we need to remind them how important it is to look after themselves," said Mr Kerton whose own father Dale Blampied came along to help.
"We need to be able to step in and support and promote good health so future generations coming through are aware of the supports that are available to them in their lives."
