It seems a silly question, but it's something Newlyn and Hepburn coaches will have likely addressed during the course of the 2019 campaign.
Cats spearhead Marcus Darmody has booted 109 goals this season, while Burras star Sam Dunstan has 104 to his name.
But the question many people will be asking is: if they don't fire, where do the goals come from?
A quick look at the stats for this year shows that the Cats have been more focused on their key forward than the Burras. Aside from Darmody, just three other Newlyn players (Dan Wehrung 21, Patrick Parr 12 and Myles Sewell 11) have kicked more than 10 majors.
Over at Hepburn, there's six players (Bryce Coffey 10, Julian Lockwood 11, Jackson Hogan 13, Andy McKay 15, Mitch McKay 15 and Brad McKay 18) that have reached double figures around the dominance of Dunstan.
All players mentioned have been named to play in Saturday's preliminary final at Buninyong.
It's also interesting to note that gun young forward Izaac Grant, who has only played three games for the Burras due to Greater Western Victoria Rebels commitments, has been recalled to the senior team for today's clash.
The two teams have met once prior in 2019 and what an intriguing contest it proved to be.
Back in round seven, the Burras led by 36 points at half time before the Cats came storming home to win the clash by two points.
Darmody kicked six goals in the triumph, while Dunstan managed four.
Gordon has operated with two key goal-kickers for much of the season, but looks set to be without one of them for Sunday's preliminary final against Waubra.
Eagles coach Ron Watt has ruled out Adam Toohey with a leg injury he sustained in last weekend's win over Beaufort.
Toohey has kicked 65 goals in 2019, seven less than his sidekick Brendan Sutcliffe, who looks likely to be the main target against the Roos.
Just three other players (Mick Nolan 15, Jaymes Gorman 13 and Brad Horsham 13) have converted double figures. Horsham's season is over after suffering a serious knee injury in week one of finals.
At Waubra, there has been a wide spread of contributors in front of goal.
James Lukich (48), Austin Murphy (44), Dean Robertson (26), Caleb McGrath (21), John Coleman (21), Andy Wettenhall (17), Jarred Crabtree (15), Darcy Jenkins (10) have all managed 10 or more majors this season and all are expected to play on Sunday.
