The utility spent the second half on the sidelines with a hamstring injury and looks in serious doubt of taking his place in the side that will battle Hepburn in the Central Highlands Football League decider.
Lukich, who had started the day manning Eagles forward Brendan Sutcliffe, is a key tall option for the Roos who has played 13 senior games in 2019.
"We will test obviously and won't rule him out, but he will have to be fully fit for us to select him," Waubra coach Matt James said on Monday.
Among a number of battered and bruised bodies, onballer Will Corbett copped a heavy knock and underwent scans on a kidney on Sunday night.
James said he received good news and would be right to play this Saturday.
The senior coach also declared that forward Jarred Crabtree would return to the side for the grand final after missing on Sunday.
It's understood Crabtree had a soft tissue injury, but also might have struggled with the dark, wet and windy conditions on the weekend.
Blind in one eye, Crabtree only has limited vision in the other and has missed many games during difficult weather conditions throughout his career.
Hepburn coach Clive Raak told The Courier on Monday that the 22 players that took the field on Saturday for the team's win over Newlyn would be available to play in the decider.
Raak said there was a group of about six other players that didn't feature on the weekend that would come into calculations for the grand final.
He said having an extra day of rest compared to Waubra was an advantage for his side, which is looking to become the first to win the flag from outside the top four since the introduction of the eight-team finals system in 2011. The Burras ended the home and away rounds in fifth, with the Roos fourth.
"The simple fact is that we have played three (finals) games so far so it's probably a huge benefit for us," Raak said.
Saturday's senior grand final will be played at Ballarat's Mars Stadium and is scheduled to kick off at 2.45pm.
