Springbank centre Kelly Conroy is recovering from a bad ankle injury sustained in the Tigers' premilinary final win over the then unbeaten Learmonth Lakies.
Speaking to The Courier on Tuesday afternoon, Springbank coach Garth Kydd said Conroy remains a 50/50 chance at playing at the weekend but relented the injury was serious.
"It was pretty bad, she couldn't really move it at all," he said.
"We're staying positive at this point, Kelly will do everything she needs to to play next week but we're also being realistic."
After the four-time premiership winner went down in the second quarter, Kydd turned to back-up mid-court player Tara Domaschenz, who he praised after the game.
"The positive thing was that we've got great versatility and we were able to bring Tara (Domaschenz) on who played an exceptional game."
