Every Friday night until December 27, Ballarat locals are being given discounted entry into the cutting-edge 3D display Aura.

The special tickets will allow Ballarat residents to buy a full price ticket and receive a second ticket at half price, giving in all a 25 per cent reduction.
Aura is Sovereign Hill's immersive theatre experience. It is designed by creative director Andrew Walsh AM and features cutting-edge 3D projection technology which includes hundreds of projections over a 64 acre area.
The new show, which began in May, lets visitors explore space, delve into the dreamtime and re-live Australia's most important rebellion. It is a whole new experience compared with the outdoor museum's previous production, Blood on the Southern Cross.
