Basketball Ballarat confirmed to The Courier that no players have been locked in for the Miners 2020 NBL1 season due to the fact the team has to wait and see how many minutes its NBL players average for their respective teams.
Sam Short, Deng Acouth and Kuany Kuany will all suit up in the NBL this season and will become restricted imports if they appear in more than 50 per cent of court time for their teams.
2019 imports Marqueze Coleman and Jerry Evans Jr have both departed Ballarat, with the former signing a contract to return to Portugal for his first season with Vitria Sport Clube.
Despite not being able to confirm anything, Basketball Ballarat told The Courier both Evans Jr and Coleman voiced their desire to return to Ballarat for the 2020 NBL1 season.
