The gun onballer was named best on ground in Waubra's grand final success on Saturday for his quality display around the ground.
In the rooms after the match, the former North Ballarat Roosters footballer showed off his badly swollen ankle and confirmed he would need a full reconstruction.

The injury occurred during the round 10 clash with Carngham-Linton and saw Lukich sidelined until the opening weekend of finals.
Despite missing the back half of the home and away campaign, Lukich finished just three votes short of winning the Geoff Taylor Medal.
Despite the joy on Saturday, Lukich was disappointed his brother Geordie missed the grand final with a bad hamstring injury.
"It was a really tough week and my brother was hurting, but it was a driving force, I still wanted to get the win," he said. "He was still a big part of it and I really appreciated his feedback."
