A street in Wendouree has been closed as police investigate an alleged stabbing.
Ambulance Victoria confirmed paramedics have taken a 31-year-old woman with upper body injuries to hospital in a stable condition.
A Victoria Police media spokesperson said it was a minor incident, with parties known to each other.
It's understood an argument broke out between a group of people at a property about 12.55pm, on Marigold Street in Wendouree.
It is not known at this time if anyone has been arrested or charged.
Police are still on the scene.
