A Ballarat man accused of raping a woman at a Delacombe address in February has pleaded not guilty.

Nathan Waight, 29, faced the Ballarat Magistrates Court on Wednesday for a committal hearing.
A Sebastopol Bowling Club manager told the court a male and a female spent several hours at the venue drinking alcohol, which amounted to five bottles of Moscato wine.
She described the male as nice and friendly to talk to and he "didn't come across as drunk" or aggressive.
The manager said by the end of the night, the pair were more passionate with each other and agreed with the defence counsel they were a romantic couple.
Police informant Detective Senior Constable Alex Riches said the alleged offending occurred in the driveway of a Delacombe house on February 15.
He said the complainant had attended a Ballarat hospital after the alleged incident but did not disclose the rape until several hours later while talking to police.
Police have CCTV footage of the pair from the bowling club, Hungary Jack's and a house opposite to where the alleged incident occurred, the detective senior constable said.
After three witnesses gave evidence, magistrate Fiona Hayes committed Waight to stand trial, saying there was sufficient evidence a jury could find him guilty.
He pleaded not guilty to 16 charges, including rape, recklessly conduct endangering life, assault with an instrument, unlawful assault and contravening a family violence intervention order.
Waight made no application for bail and was remanded in custody until a direction's hearing at the County Court on September 26.
