AFTER its best month in almost three years, V/Line's punctuality on the Ballarat line has dipped below 90 per cent once again

During August, V/Line's services ran at 89.3 per cent punctuality, a drop from 93 per cent in July.
V/Line has also released its capacity figures from March 21 to May 9 which shows between 80 and 100 per cent capacity on all services, except for the 7.39am from Wendouree which it says ran at 69 per cent during the period.
The statistics also show that 96 per cent of services did run during the month.
The $500 million upgrade of the Ballarat train line is expected to be completed by 2020.
Commuter services punctuality is measured on time to five minutes 59 seconds with those adversely affected by train delays able to claim compensation.
