The reigning Big V youth league one men's champions were recognised with two awards at the ceremony at the Melbourne Pavilion in Kensington on Saturday evening.
Head coach Daniel Knaggs was named Big V youth league one coach of the year, while centre Amos Brooks was named into the league's all-star five.
Knaggs led the team to an impressive 18 wins this past season which culminated in a grand final win over the Geelong Supercats.
Meanwhile Brooks, who recently received an athletic scholarship to play basketball in America, averaged double figure points for the Miners and served as the team's main interior presence.
The team will be promoted next season.
The Big V Awards Night crowned 12 Championship teams from their exceptional 2019 campaigns, as well as celebrated individual players and Associations on their own noteworthy achievements.
Big V Competitions Manager Jeff Downes congratulated all of the award winners on their impeccable performances across the 2019 Big V season.
"It's been an incredible season and we're excited to present our 2019 award winners at the Big V Awards Night," Downes said.
"In another competitive season across the board, we saw some exceptional performances from teams, players and coaches and volunteers."
