For the second year in a row, Damian Irvin has been selected into the Australian Futsal Association's Australian club team. He will be part of an elite squad which will play a series of matches in the UK in October.
The 14-year-old said he was looking forward to the trip.
"I'm really excited and feel honoured to be representing Australia in futsal a second time," he said.
"It was definitely a surprise to be picked, but I thought I played pretty well to make it. I probably played as well as I did last time."
The trip will mark the second international tour for Irvin who was selected into the same program last year which toured Barcelona.
This year's tour will see the team play practice games in London before entering tournaments in Blackpool and Scotland.
Although he doesn't know who his teammates will be yet, Irvin said he was hopeful the team can put on a good showing.
"I don't really know how they play in England yet, last year it was different because we had to play like they did," he said.
"We won four last year so hopefully we can win some more."
The opportunity came about after Irvin impressed selectors while playing for Vic Country at nationals earlier this year.
Having been a soccer player also, Irvin said he preferred futsal because of the fast-pace and required skill.
