The versatile Bryson McDougall and Jaykeb Lench confirmed their readiness to return from injury in a light training session at the Eastern Oval on Tuesday night.
They were two of the last off the track, staying out after the bulk of the players had retired to the rooms.
McDougall (hamstring) and Lench (corked thigh) each played in the Roos' qualifying final win over Sebastopol, but missed the second semi-final victory against Melton.
McDougall played in East Point's premiership side last year and for a third time in as many seasons kicked more than 20 goals this year.
Sebastopol's James Keeble and Brett Goodes continued to press for a return by taking part in full training at Marty Busch Reserve on Tuesday night.
Each moved freely and appear strong chances to line up at Mars Stadium on Saturday.
As a former Western Bulldogs AFL player and multiple VFL premiership player, Goodes is Sebastopol's most experienced player and having him slot back into the Burra's forward line with Keeble would be a huge confidence booster.
Goodes played in the qualifying final, but has missed the first semi-final and preliminary final wins while getting over a calf strain - an injury which has restricted his game time over the past few seasons.
Keeble is striving to play his first final after straining a hamstring in the last home and away round.
Marshall Cain (soreness), who was a withdrawal from the selected side for Saturday's preliminary final win over Melton, trained away from the main group.
