The Roos out-classed a brave Sebastopol by 14 points at Mars Stadium on Satuday.
East Point coped with the greasy conditions much better - with cleaner possession and defensive effort which forced a constant flow of turnovers and shutdown the Burra's dangerous forwards.
Sebastopol fought all the way, throwing everything at it in an attempt to secure its first BFL premiership, but the Roos answered every challenge through sheer persistence.
East Point took a one-point lead 32 minutes into the first quarter and was never headed in front of the BFL's biggest grand final crowd in the modern era (since the eastern bloc clubs joined the comopetition in 1997).
Roos teammates Mickitja Rotumah-Onus and Jacob Brown received the best-on-ground awards.
For Rotumah-Onus, it completed a huge few days.
The premiership and his personal performance came just a day after he became a father for the first time.
Key defender Toby Lockyer was outstanding for Sebastopol, producing some spectacular individual efforts as he did everything possible to lift the Burra.
OTHER NOTABLE MOMENTS:
- Sebastopol chaired off Brett Goodes after his last game with the club.
- East Point chaired of 2018 premiership captain Paul Koderenko and club stalwart Chris Banwell after its defeat in the reserves - signalling their retirements.
- Sebastopol teenager Ben Hutt suffered a shoulder late in the first quarter.
- East Point's Bill Jones suffered suspected medial ligament damage.
