A star studded set of teams have been selected for the upcoming Victorian State Netball Titles to represent the Central Highlands region. Encompassing the Central Highlands, Ballarat, Mininera and Maryborough Castlemaine Football Netball Leagues, each of the open, 17/under and 15/under teams feature some of the top netballers from each competition. Hosted by the Lilydale and Yarra Valley Netball Association, the sides will compete across Saturday and Sunday against other regions from around Victoria. No Central Highlands team made the finals in 2018. Boasting stars all over the court, the open side includes two sets of duos in Lake Wendouree pair Kara Hart and Kirsty Walsh and Learmonth tandem Eleisha Phelps and Nichole O'Brien. The 17/under team also plays host to some strong competitors such as Hepburn premiership star Brydi Hutchison and Ballarat U/19 premiership best on court winner Lydia Jordan.
