Over 70 riders from across the state converged on Victoria Park for the event hosted by the Ballarat-Sebastopol Cycling club.
Seven Ballarat schools joined riders from Horsham, Port Fairy, Bendigo and Geelong. Riders competed in novice and racing categories from grade five up to grade 12, with the top three from each race qualifying for entry into the Bendigo State Final Championship next weekend.
Chris O'Brien of Damascus College took out the under-19 racing category. Fellow Damascus student Shannon Craggill won the under-17 racing category, edging out Ballarat's Iesha Humber.
Meanwhile youngster Alistair Forsyth of Clarendon College claimed the under-13 racing category, while Zac Howard emerged victorious in the under-13 novice category.
