Edmonds was re-appointed head coach of the panthers' A-grade and B-grade netball sides as well as the club's 19/under team.
The club took to Facebook to announce the decision in a post which praised Edmond's ability as a coach.
"Anna made a fantastic impact in her first year as head coach with, A-Grade only narrowly missing out on finals this year," it read.
"We look to forward seeing the impact she can make in season 2020."
Melton South missed the post-season by a hair this year after getting edged out Bacchus Marsh on percentage.
The club, which finished with eight wins and eight losses on the year, proved capable of going toe-to-toe with the competition's top-half.
It enjoyed wins over finals-bound teams Bacchus Marsh and Ballarat at different points in the season.
