Stepping out of a limousine to a red carpet welcome, Barry Henry, Adam Walters, and Deneale Deppeler and their guests joined the daily morning quality control test - that is, tasting the chocolate - before touring the factory.
"No oompa-loompas in there, that's for sure," Mr Henry said afterwards.

"The automation was absolutely amazing, the way those machines operate, they're so meticulous."
Mr Walters, who said he was taking his partner for their first getaway in two years in his winning submission, said his highlight was checking out the products.
"I used to work at McCains, and (daily testing) can get pretty tedious, but it was really good," he said.
Ms Deppeler said she was excited to finally learn how the letter M was applied to every single M&M.
"The main thing that I wanted to see," she said.
"It's very impressive, you can't imagine - is there a man who stands there and paints every individual M? There's so many to go through."
The winners also got to check out the chocolate laboratory, and learn about how chocolate is made, before the limo returned.
The competition was run with The Courier.
