Two people have been taken to hospital suffering from burns after a serious collision took place in Maude on Saturday afternoon.

There were three vehicles involved in the incident, which happened near the crossroads of Steiglitz and Maud-She Oaks roads .
The crash took place just before 1pm.
One of the vehicles involved hit a tree then caught fire, according to details released by the Victoria Police.
Two of the occupants of that car were airlifted to hospital.
A teenage girl is reportedly in a serious condition while the female driver is said to be in a stable condition.
Those in the two other vehicles stopped to help and are not reported to be have sustained any injuries.
Police said they were investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
