Each club has been initially given 43 points.
If any wish to have a higher allowance, they must make an application.
Grand finalist Sebastopol and wooden spooner Melton South were the only clubs allowed to field senior sides exceeding 43, with 47 and 50 respectively.
Only three clubs had sides with maximum points - Ballarat in round one, East Point in round five and Redan in round 12.
Ballarat-based clubs had the five highest averages (see graph below).
# Highest average: Redan (see the Lions' point match-by-match in graph below)
# Highest game points: Sebastopol (round 1)
# Lowest game points: Melton South (round 9)
See each club's point round-by-round below
BFL club salary caps will remain at $140,000.
