East Ballarat secured a prized six points on a day of wet weather throughout the Ballarat Cricket Association.
The Hawks were the only first grade side to complete a result on Saturday, defeating Napoleons-Sebastopol by 21 runs.
Rain delays saw the one-day match reduced to 40 overs per side and in the end it was the visitors that secured the victory.
Batting first, East Ballarat made 5-150 thanks to 48 from Chris Jerram, 44 from Jarrod Blandford and 34 not out from Tristan Dixon.
The Hawks were then able to dismiss the hosts for 129 in the 38th over.
Jerram again led the way, snaring 4-25.
That result lifted the East boys to third on the table, with all other teams in the first grade competition sharing the points on Saturday.
At the Eastern Oval, Matt Goonan again starred with the bat as Mt Clear posted 8-179 (compulsory closure after 44 overs) before the game was abandoned.
Goonan made 86 to take his season aggregate to 181 from three innings.
The game at the Western Oval between winless sides Brown Hill and Buninyong was also called off.
The Bunnies closed their innings after 46.2 overs with the total at 9-139.
In reply, the Bulls were 6-113 when the clash ended after 40 overs.
Imesh Udayanga took four wickets for Brown Hill, while Russell Sharp made 35 for Buninyong.
The match was also in the balance at the Northern Oval when it ended prematurely.
North Ballarat batted first and reached 8-160 from its full 50-over allotment.
After making an unbeaten 88 the week before, Matt Zakynthinos was again in good touch with 79 not out.
Ballarat-Redan's run chase got through 32 overs before it was eventually abandoned with the Two Swords 5-101.
While English import Sam Burgess only got 26 with the bat, he did snare a handy 3-18 with the ball.
The battle between Darley and Wendouree ended in a draw after umpires altered the game to "ordinary conditions" due to the loss of time.
Red Caps skipper Gavin Webb said it was a frustrating finish to the clash, with the Lions batting out their shortened innings to secure a share of the points.
Wendouree batted for 47 overs before closing at 4-195 then Darley closed at 5-114 from its 33.
Red Caps opener Cole Roscholler made 84 while West Indian Danza Hyatt hit an unbeaten 73 in his first knock of the season.
