Stephen Walsh took home the Auskick Victorian Volunteer of the Year for his work establishing and furthering the Auskick program in Daylesford.
Walsh, who lives with motor neurone disease (MND), is a former president of both the senior and junior Daylesford Football Netball Club. Walsh gave up his position in 2014 to Rob Millar as the club's new president and Craig Wade as vice-president.
In 2018, Walsh along with his family helped organise the Daylesford Dunking Derby and Walshy's Walk/ Waddle as part of a fundraising effort for MND Victoria.
