Nine Ballarat people aged between 15 and 55 have been charged with a range of offences after police swooped as part of Operation Liege this morning.

The nine people, seven males and two females, were charged after raids by both detective and uniform officers this morning as part of ongoing Operation Liege.
Of the nine charged, three people have been remanded in custody. One of those has been charged with 10 counts of alleged drug importation, another has been charged regarding eight outstanding warrants and another over four outstanding warrants.
Four have been bailed pending further enquiries and one has been charged and bailed regarding a series of alleged burglaries in Clunes in August of this year.
In all police arrested 60 people across the western part of the state from Geelong to Mildura as part of ongoing Operation Liege.
Warrants were also executed in the Geelong, Portland, Warrnambool, Ararat, Bendigo and the Mildura areas.
Three people have been charged in Ararat and one in Horsham. All have been bailed alleged charges including careless driving, shop stealing and failure to appear on bail bench warrants. One person from Maryborough has also been bailed.
Western Region Operations Crime and Intelligence Inspector John Clark said these arrests come as part of a state-wide initiative established in July to disrupt high-harm and high-impact youth offending.
"This operation complements the ongoing work of our regional crime teams, across the state," Inspector Clark said.
"Drug crimes, burglaries and serious robberies are horrendous crimes which leave a long-lasting impact on victims and the community."
