For junior cricket, a decision will be made as close to 7.30am as possible while for senior cricket the decision will be made by 10am.
The association added "if the forecast stays as it is currently the likelihood of cancellation is high," and stressed the importance of safety in the wet conditions.
In junior cricket, games at the weekend are the second of a two-day match while for seniors it would be the first day of the two-day match.
In a statement released on the BCA Facebook page, the Pennant Committee said "While our aim is to play as much cricket as possible, playing in cold and wet conditions creates more issues around safety and enjoyment than it is worth."
