Ballarat and District Trotting Club was crowned the top country club at the Gordon Rothacker Medal night on Sunday, while Ballarat also produced the trainer, owner and breeder of the year, and a string of horse of the year awards.
This the 12th time the BDTC has been named the state's number one club.
Hosting the second round of Inter Dominion heats in December was a highlight of the club's 2018-19 season.
"This is the one we drive for every year, so a big call out to the team," BDTC president David Young said.
We strive for it, we think we are a well-oiled rig, obviously innovation is a key to it.
"The time I've been involved, (the Inter Dominion) was definitely a highlight of mine.
"The amount of people that were there, the vibe at the track was amazing," he said.
Emma Stewart was acknowledged as the statewide and Victorian metropolitan leading trainer, Pat Driscoll (Yabby Dam Racing) was recognised as the leading owner, Bruce and Vicki Edwards (Durham Park) as the leading breeders.
Stewart won her fifth straight Vicytorian premiership last season with 278 winners and the metropolitan title with 92.
