Stick in speed humps as well to stop the hoons racing around there.
We also have to protect the swans.
As written in the article it could be a child next time.

I agree with 40km/h zones and speed humps around Lake Wendouree.
A few more signs for phone numbers for injured wildlife assistance too.
I do not agree with lights for around the lake walking track.
Having lights does not make people safer from anyone hiding in shadows.

Speed humps need to be installed.
I have witnessed a family of wood ducks get hit by a car on Wendouree Parade.
Further to that, we need signs on the foreshore alerting bicyclists to slow down, stay left and use a bell to signify their presence.
Too many times speeding bicyclists have frightened birds, dogs and people.
