I will be interested to see if the new mayor Ben Taylor looks after the south ward he represents or will all the money stay in the CBD?

The streets in Sebastopol are a disgrace.

Rowlands Street has potholes all the way along it.

Tuppen Drive has always been a two way street, now it's two way for one half and one way for the rest because the council only widened one half of it.

The car park at the Sebastopol football ground is an utter mess and has needed work done for years and it's the only ground in the BFL which hasn't got netting behind the goals.

Of course council will say its spent a lot of money on the ground, but every other ground in Ballarat has had way more money spent on their grounds.

In all the years I have lived in Sebastopol, the only time you see our councilors is when there's a photo shoot to boost their egos.
