Ballarat's Aaron Clarke is on target to claim his second National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Golf Championship men's crown in three years.
The 2017 champion leads by three strokes after shooting 143 for the opening two rounds in the 72-hole event at Ballarat Golf Club.
Clarke shots a second round four-under par 68 on Wednesday to secure a six-shot turn around.
Lorna Serai Forrest (Queensland) leads the women's championship.
After an opening round of 93, she fired a 104 on Wednesday, but still has three shots up her sleeve from Glennis Warrior from Kapunda in South Australia.
