Ballarat racers Domenic and Lewis Kucina have a need for speed.
And this weekend they will put their skills to the test at the Victorian Country Series go-kart championships.
They will join 200 other racers from across Victoria to compete in the biggest go-kart event in the state.
Hosted by the Ballarat Kart Club, the series will feature some of the country's best young drivers.
Racers will reach speeds of up to 90 kilometers at the two-day event held at Racecourse Road.
Domenic, said he wants to record a top-10 finish in the KA4 junior light category.
"It's our home race so I want to do well for that," he said.
His younger brother Lewis said it was important to keep cool when turning around corners.
"You have to get every corner right or you wont get the lap times you need to win," he said.
