The match bore few hallmarks of a top-end clash, as BMS conquered its second-placed counterparts by 58 shots on its home turf.
The home side won all three rinks en-route to victory, with skipper Jeff Ryan's outfit dealing most of the damage. BMS is now 14 points clear at the summit.
Meanwhile Sebastopol claimed an important success to take third spot on the competition ladder.
The Kookaburras managed two out of three rinks to finish four shots clear of Clunes on unfamiliar carpet. Sebastopol skipper Ian Hedger spearheaded the Kookaburras, leading his rink to an 11-shot win.
Meanwhile Central Wendouree comfortably overcame Midlands by 17 shots at home. The Bears won two out of three rinks in the encounter, with skipper Joy Adams laying the platform to victory with a 19-shot triumph.
Midlands skipper Paul Kennedy offered the only real resistance for Midlands, in what was a dark day for the club. In other games Buninyong was too good for Daylesford and Avenue edged out Creswick.
